Village Radunwas once a thriving Jewish town. During World War II, the Jewish community was destroyed. It is reminiscent of the building of the Radun Yeshiva (now the house of culture in this building) - a religious school from which many famous rabbis came out.
Its founder was the famous clergyman and religious writer Chafetz-Chaim, who for many years was the spiritual leader of the Jews who lived in the Russian Empire, and then in Poland. Chafetz-Chaim is revered by the Jews of the whole world as a saint, and his grave, located in the local cemetery, serves as a place of pilgrimage.
